Veterinary Forensic Sciences students at the University of FloridaThe University of Florida Veterinary Forensic Sciences Laboratory provides instructional resources in the form of facilities and instructors for numerous workshops, short courses, and conferences each year in varying areas of veterinary forensic science and legal investigations. These courses are open to anyone regardless of student enrollment status at the University of Florida. Course registration with the University of Florida Conference Department is required for these in-person educational opportunities.

Animal ForensicCon: The Animal Forensic Investigations ConferenceThe University of Florida Veterinary Forensic Sciences Laboratory and faculty and staff of the UF Veterinary Forensic Sciences Program host an annual conference highlighting a wide variety of topics pertaining to criminal investigations, law, small animal investigations, equine and livestock investigations, and wildlife crimes. The objective of the conference is to raise professional awareness of the various animal forensic science disciplines, which can be utilized in cases of animal neglect, animal cruelty, wildlife crimes, and other crimes against animals.
